This outfit incorporates a kilt which is the size of a great kilt, it loops all the way around and comes up in the front near the shoulder. The kilt uses blue, purple, and black as its main colors to create a checkered pattern that runs across the kilt. A pair of white lines also create some larger squares on the kilt which highlights the colors in the checks and also makes the kilt stand out. The kilt has rough edges which add to the traditional look.
Near the shoulder, on one side the kilt is pinned to the front using a large metal decorate pin. The coat is plain black and features some silver buttons used to style the jacket on the front and near the cuffs. This outfit is complete with a black waistcoat which also has square silver buttons to tie it closed. The shirt is kept in a formal plain white and is accompanied by a bow tie which adds to the formal look. The outfit also has a fluffy white sporran made with natural materials, just as it would be back in the day. Everything is held together with a thick leather belt that holds a big shiny metal buckle.
For those people who have an even size such as 30, 32, or 36, then it is recommended to order that exact size. However for those who fall in between it is more suitable to go for one size bigger, which will give a comfortable fit. If you prefer a tighter fit you could always go for one size smaller. A few kilts have a tapered slim fit, for those, it is recommended to go for the exact size or bigger size as the fit is slightly tighter than regular. (Kilt Measuring Guide)
